So I'm trying to get back into the habit of throwing the digi into my bag whenever I go out in the hope of getting the creative juices flowing again. It seems that I can only do one thing at a time and am a hopeless cause when it comes to multitasking. I go through moods where one stretch of months I'll be into photography, the next reading, the next writing, the next something else and haven't got room in my little brain for all of them. August to about November saw me buried in a mound of books. October through to November had me at a children's writing course for four weeks and slugging out 13,000 odd words in a NaNoWriMo attempt. Now I'm knitting, but that's another story.
During my long absence it seems that all my little tricks have leaked out through my ears, so don't be too hard on the two shots I'm about to upload - it took me about 15 minutes to remember how to do simple things like adjust contrast and sharpness in PS7. The framing and backgrounds are complete shit, but hopefully the shit will eventually be replaced with goodness as I get back into the swing of things.
